Commissioned by the City of Indio Redevelopment Agency, this project was part of the Downtown Indio Façade Rehabilitation Program. Using the bones of an existing 1950’s concrete block rectangular building, a new façade was designed to create a more memorable building that would help to set a new positive precedent for architectural design in the Downtown Indio district. Using simple means of signage, color, and texture, a new façade and side elevation was created to update the Florist’s image.
