Through the years, various installation proposals have arisen through particular conceptual investigations.  In all of these proposals, Smith’s vintage typewriter collection has been put to use to record the site, purpose, and means for each project, while pen sketches, hard-line drawings, or photographs define the layout, examples, or versions of the proposal.  The following are several examples of these 8.5” x 11” pages and details of the typed text.
