Objects + Landscapes were part of a 3 month long self-initiated, intensive, creative experience on the rented sixth floor of a former textile building in Lawrence, MA.  Arriving at the studio space with only ink and paper, this series of drawings were completed through a very active process.  All 90 sheets of paper from this series were laid out at one time.  First, the landscape, or topography, was drawn for each sheet in sectional view.  Then, each landscape was reacted to with the precise placement of a single ink spray, drop, or splotch.  These drawings are considered to be studies for future human-scaled sculptures.
