We have a stereotypical understanding of the form of the palm tree from the trunk to the fan of fronds.  When that relationship is altered or broken, we notice.  This proposal seeks to transform a palm tree, inspiring people to revisit their own understanding of their “normal” environment.  In simple ways, we can transform our own day-to-day living and natural environments as well as our own stereotypes in order to create memorable forms and memorable experiences.
