Located adjacent to her Palm Springs clothing boutique, the new Trina Turk Pillow Store will highlight her new home accessory line. The store is composed of a series of simple, formal gestures of white surfaces with varying textures allowing Trina's strong and colorful fabrics to be highlighted. An undulating wall, holding display boxes and the cash wrap, moves through the space and is coated with a three-dimensional version of one of Trina's signature fabrics. The main display wall radiuses into a floating ceiling that runs the full length of the store, creating a sense of depth and scale within the space. All edges are lit from behind creating an individual character for each surface and a sense of hovering and lightness throughout the store.
